Hana Saad is a Lebanese-American writer based out of Phoenix, AZ. She received a BA in English and Media Studies from the University of Tulsa. After graduating, she served as the Communications and Operations Fellow at the Oklahoma Policy Institute. She is currently pursuing an MFA in poetry at Arizona State University, where she serves as the Nonfiction Editor at Hayden’s Ferry Review.

A 2023 artist-in-residence at the National Arab American Museum, Hana’s work focuses on themes of memory, time, anger, and desire. Her poetry is featured in Mizna, Pomona Valley Review, and elsewhere. Hana also writes fiction and nonfiction. She is starting to dabble with photography and film as well.

Hana also has experience in communications and marketing. She began her career working with non-profit organizations, and is interested in expanding into branding. Her interests include copywriting, design, and photography, especially in the music and fashion industries. View her CV for more information.

When she’s not writing or creating, she enjoys exploring new cafes, dancing to techno music, & scheming various plots with her friends.
